I’ve already mentioned in one of my previous posts that this season is the first when I practice golf more than I used to. It’s because my fiancee has started playing too so now we both have a great hobby. We practice most at Binowo Golf Course but only on the 9-hole course. Sometimes when my parents join us we go and play at the 18-hole course. However, in today’s post I’ll be telling you more about 9-hole golf course in Binowo.
The Binowo Golf Club is located near Szczecin, in Poland, on the edges of very beautiful Beech Forest. The 9-hole course is a practice course for the beginners but also for the advanced golfers. The time you need to finish it is from hour and a half to 2 hours depending on how well you play. When we practice we spend around 2 hours on this golf course. We don’t rush, it has to be a pleasure.
Each hole is quite short making you play more careful and precise. The longest is hole number 4 where you can use a driver for the first shot if you want. The rest is played mostly with irons. The holes are nice looking. However, this season all the fairways were burnt out and greens were left in a terrible condition. What’s more, I think they could plant there more trees or some field flowers so it’s more picturesque.
I like this course for it’s shortness. After the round you are satisfied yet not tired. You can really practice more precise shots and improve your short game skills. Will I get back there? Yes. It’s the practice course I like playing at but as I’ve mentioned before this season was quite terrible. Especially the summer. I hope it’ll be much better in the next year.
